ASPIRATION

Aspiration is a call to the Divine. — The Mother

Many disciples of the Ashram were eager: they expected to see the Master becoming a kind of God, perhaps with a luminous and immortal body. Certainly, people were waiting for a miracle.
But the Master was working tirelessly within Himself and within the body of the Earth trying to illuminate the dark basements of the life. The work was arduous and thankless. He knew that the transformation would require many years.
But the disciples did not understand anything. Only a few of them were aware of the big work undertaken by Sri Aurobindo and Mother. Others were just waiting for the fireworks.

Dear Barindranath Chaki:

You are quite right.
You see: I have one good friend who was at the Ashram for some time. He said to me (more or less)..."Sri Aurobindo was a great thinker and poet...nothing else. He wrote about immortality, but he died...like everybody...like we will die one day"

Obviously, he has still not understood nothing of the great and deep work of the Master. He has only seen the surface of his work...nothing more.

Yes, dear...he was waiting for the firewoks.
The Master's work was so much new, so much deep for his traditional vision of Yoga

Many of the followers are are still waiting for the Fireworks !
They hope the New Race will come miraculously!

The Mother gave us the following message on the 1st January 1967:
Men, countries, continents!
The choice is imperative: Truth or the abyss.

Atleast a part of tghe humanity has to choose to sincerely live the Truth, or else, the Abyss is the choice!
