ASPIRATION

Aspiration is a call to the Divine. — The Mother

NAMASTE, All.

Ganga-Snanam, Narmada-Darshanam and Tunga-Panam
are considered Papanashanam.

A bath in the Holy River Ganga, a look at the Holy River Narmada and a sip of palm-full water of the Holy River Tunga are found to eliminate papam (sin, negative propensities, impurities) by the Maharishis(Sages) who experienced it through UPASANAM/UPASANA, a Vedic discipline which is almost lost to the posterity. In the pursuit of its rediscovery a researcher of Vedic Sciences translated it as Performance Research and Experiential Learning.

The Indian cultural sensitivity and spiritual sensibility are encapsulated in a single term SHRADDHA which when translated would betray the purpose and purport. Then how to know the meaning?

The answer is, as the Sage Pippalada puts it, "live with me for a samvatsaram (a year in the Indian sense). Culture is not taught; it is caught while living in the atmosphere which fosters it, nurtures it and nourishes it. That too, in its natural habitat! And it should be living in the being mode of consciousness wherein the attitude plays the major role.

Gange Hara, Hara! Gangamayya Ki Jai! Narmade Hara,Hara! With mouthful of Tunga, one cannot speak out, "Tunge Hara, Hara" !!

"Oushadham Jahnavi-toyam | Vaidyo Narayano Harih", The Ganges water is medicine and Lord Narayana is the Doctor.
