Profile Information

Please tell us something about yourself.
Interested mainly in the Adventure of Consciousness,I believe in human progress and evolution and in the inner capacity of Man to outgrow and master all his imperfections and darkness, to grow into a creative, constructive and higher divine being, along with the society, conquering all inner and outer darkness, crossing all barriers and divisions.
I have heard of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother from my parents since childhood. Since adolescence, I was inspired by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother (Mira Alfassa) and sought to understand and follow Their Teaching, making others understand and follow Them. In 1956, I read The Life Divine, and gradually, I read almost all that is written by Them and about Them. I have visited the Ashram and Auroville some times. I organized and managed some Sri Aurobindo centres, in different parts of Orissa, and often met Prapatti and Ramkrishna Das. Mira Aditi Centre has published my Bengali translations of some books including Sri Aurobindo or the Adventure of Consciousness by Satprem, India's Rebirth and India the Mother, collections from the writings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother respectively.
Your website address, if any.
My main website is The New Horizon [http://barinchaki.webs.com/].Besides,I have some other blogs [All choice, The New Vision, The New Platform etc] and websites. I am a member of Gaia and Sulekha, where I have my blogs. I am also a member of Orkut and Facebook. Almost all that I have written and that I write is about Sri Aurobindo ad The Mother and Their Teaching and Way and about the Future of the Earth ad the Mankind.

Beyond Man

Bengali singer Nachiketa sang a song : Manushgulō satyikaarer maanush hobe kobe? Recently I happened to listen to it, though I heard it earlier also. The line quoted here means: When will the human beings be truly human?

But it was seemingly a coincidence that I came across an essay by Arhata Osho, a friend of mine, bearing the title “Monkeys to Humanoids which I have also published in my B… Continue

I commented there as follows: Jyotirasi jyotirmayi dhehi. Thou art Light, so, cause Light descend on me.

Into the New Body

The Mother, Mira Alfassa, walked into the New Body on the 17th day of November 1973. She left Her physical body and walked and entered into the then newly formed Supramental Body. The World knew and told that She has passed away.

It is said that The Mother withdrew Herself on the 17th day of November in 1973. However, we will see that in reality, in the highest meaning and sense of the term ‘reality’, The Mother continues eternally — in a NEW BODY.

Sri Aurobindo and Avatarhood 1

Sri Aurobindo was the last Avatar in a human body.

That is what The Mother has said.

She has also said that Sri Aurobindo would return, but NOT in a human body — NOT in a body born as a human being or of a human being. And His return may even be as late as five hundred years from his departure.
I have said earlier also that according to The Mother, Sri Aurobindo was an emanation of the Supreme. He was / is an Avatar of The Supreme. He came to transcend the Overmind consciousness and to cause t… Continue
