ASPIRATION

Aspiration is a call to the Divine. — The Mother

Lalit Kumar

Celebrating 137th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo

Each one has his on ideal and

finds out suitable sentences from

Sri Aurobindo’s writings to support his views.

Those who oppose such views

can also find suitable sentences from his writings.

That is the way mutual opposition works.

Nothing can truly done until

Sri Aurobindo’s total view of things is taken.

- The Mother

(CWM: 13, p.22)

The best homage we can pay to Sri Aurobindo is to prepare for the advent of the Superamental race. –The Mother (CWM: 13, p.15)

This is a very important caution. Lalith is correctly pointing out that Sri Aurobindo's words need to be taken in context and also requires carefully reading of Their works.
The book Thoughts and Aphorisms by Sri Aurobindo, with commentaries by the Mother
[can be read as pdf on http://www.sriaurobindoashram.org/ashram/mother/writings.php]
is really worth reading, in order to get a flavour of Sri Aurobindo's comprehensive view, his poetic language and razor-sharp intellect. The commentaries by Mother, in response to questions, reinforces the antithesis/thesis/synthesis approach.
